In the increasingly popular BD10 area which is just a stones through from the busy towns of Guiseley and Yeadon. Apperley Bridge is an area which offers a wide selection of housing needs ranging from the beautifully converted Whitfield Mill which offers modern apartments with canal views and walks, to a more traditional selection of period cottages and larger detached properties.
The well respected Woodhouse Grove School which takes pupils from 3- university age and offers boarding facilities is positioned in Apperley Bridge. With a number of local eating establishments including The Stansfield Arms, which is highly recommended, Apperley Bridge is fast becoming a sought after location for those who wish to purchase a little more than a Leeds budget will allow!
Plans are now in place for a train station to be built at the top of Apperley Bridge, which that will give commuters easy access to Leeds, Bradfordand the wider rail network. Work on the Apperley Bridge Railway Station has already started and due to be completed by September 2014. These plans are currently causing investors to look favourably on the area and have had a great impact on local businesses.
